Xinyuan (Max) Cao is a Neuroscience PhD student at Emory University. He received his B.S. in Quantitative Sciences from Emory University. Before graduate school, he investigated how oxytocin receptor expression influences social interaction patterns in prairie voles with machine learning techniques. His research interests broadly include sensory/social neuroscience, and his current work focuses on cross-modal interactions in the visual and auditory systems. He is co-advised by Dr. Robert Liu at Emory University.
